USDA Announces Availability of Enhanced Online Tool to Estimate Farm-level Greenhouse Gas Emissions

U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Chief Dave White today announced the release of an enhanced and expanded online tool developed in collaboration with Colorado State University that helps producers estimate carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emissions associated with a variety of on-farm management practices.

Tim Reeser, a Colorado State University alumnus and chief operating officer of Cenergy, the business component to Colorado State University’s Clean Energy Supercluster, will talk on Nov. 3 about the university’s efforts to take clean energy innovation from laboratories to the marketplace.

The talk, part of the Colorado State Alumni Association’s Spotlight on CSU series, will be 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at the Fort Collins Hilton, 425 W. Prospect Road. Registration is $10 for Alumni Association members, $15 for non-members and $8 for students.
